Audit Log

The Audit Log records what happened in your Tenant over the last year: sign-ins, Tenant switches, Invitations, changes to Roles, Groups and users, changes to the sign-in settings, Verified Domains and SSO, accepting the terms, off-boarding and restoring the Tenant, and users who deleted their own account. Each entry names who acted, when, and which user, Role, Group, Invitation, domain or setting it concerned.

You need the Right to read the Audit Log to open it. Admins hold it.

  • What happened, such as Signed in or Changed a user’s Roles.
  • When it happened, in your time zone.
  • Who acted. A Scavenger AI staff member who helped you in your Tenant is marked Scavenger AI staff.
  • Whom or what it concerned: the user, the Role, the Group, the Invitation, the domain or the setting, and for a change of Roles, which Roles and Rights were given or taken.

An entry never holds content: no Conversations, no values of settings, and no names of Roles. The page shows the current email of each user and the current name of each Role. A user who has left your Tenant and a Role that was deleted are shown by their ID.

Every sign-in to your Tenant leaves an entry. Staying signed in doesn’t: the apps renew a session in the background without adding entries.

In the Admin App, open Audit Log. The newest entries come first. Select Show older entries to see more.

Narrow the list with the filters above it:

  • From and To: the first and last day to show.
  • Who acted: one user of your Tenant.
  • What happened: one kind of event.

The filters apply at once. Select Clear filters to see everything again.

Each entry is kept for one year and then removed. Nobody in your Tenant can change or delete an entry, Admins included.
